Online Room Booking System

The website has long been a must for every hotel, BB or even a villa. For the last five years or so, however, another trend has been establishing, that of getting online booking through that website as well. Although most of the smaller establishments have 'booking forms', this is not exactly an online booking system, nor does it offer the advantages of one. Booking forms are not much different than a regular e-mail. They are not a new sales channel mainly because they cannot be used to close a deal online. This makes them even less convenient than phone calls. Static web forms are naturally evolving into online booking systems. Hotel online booking systems, known as web booking engines, combine the convenience of all other channels and provide guests with instant and accurate information about availability, prices, alternative periods, as well the possibility to book and guarantee online.
