ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The Squirrel Creek Fire Map 2012 prompted new Wyoming wildfire evacuations this morning. The Wyoming wildfires outside Woods Landing, Laramie, and Lake Owen are expanding, prompting new updates for the Squirrel Creek Fire Map. The fire remains at only twelve percent containment today, officials told news.
First broke on LALATE days ago, the fire has now made significant advance since Tuesday. The fire, now being battled by three hundred fire personnel, has burned over nine thousand acres, officials tell news. The fire still, however, remains two miles south of Lake Owen. Officials indicate to news that they are still trying to keep the fire’s front line from advancing closer to Woods Landing and Laramie.
