Sea Ark Boats
SeaArk Boats is a family business owned by the McClendon family who
has a long and varied history in aluminum boat building. Zach McClendon,
Jr. along with his father, Zach McClendon Sr. and Norris Judkins
started MonArk Boat Company in 1958.MonArk Boat Company started building small jon boats and grew to
eventually create two divisions: The pleasure boat division and the
workboat division. The Workboat division eventually built commercial,
work, and patrol craft for the United States military, the U. S. Army
Corps of Engineers, the Oil industry, as well as Fire boats, Excursion
boats, and Harbor Security craft for many different branches of the
government and commercial companies.
