Holiday Jobs

Holiday Jobs

High school or college students on winter break--or anyone looking for extra cash--can find temporary employment during the holiday season. Winter holiday jobs are often part-time, meaning that employees can both earn money and enjoy some free time. Align your work experience with seasonal opportunities to find a winter holiday job that is the right fit.  Help with holiday celebrations. Work as a server at holiday parties through catering companies or family friends. Pass hors d'oeuvres at a cocktail party or serve guests at a plated dinner. If you're over the age of 21 and have bartending experience, work as a bartender at holiday parties. This can be a profitable venture if you serve generous customers. Adults attending company holiday parties and neighborhood get-togethers may need babysitters. Offer your babysitting services to neighbors, church members and others in the community. Post fliers on community bulletin boards, and be sure to have references available.
